Gateway Industries is a Community Rehabilitation Program which provides a program of rehabilitative services and personal development for persons who are physically or mentally disabled and who have some potential for working in competitive or sheltered employment after receiving rehabilitation services.

Gateway Industries, Inc. (formerly Southeastern Regional Workshop, Inc.) was chartered under the laws of WV as a private, non-profit organization on April 2, 1980. The Workshop is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors which is broadly representative of the community. Gateway is an educational and vocational community rehabilitation program for the disabled serving approximately 600 disabled citizens since its inception. Our primary goal is to develop the capabilities of individuals and to enable them to become self-supporting through employment in the business and industrial sectors. Gateway has had the highest success rate of any like agency in the Greenbrier Valley accomplishing this goal; and, is currently enjoying the far above average success rate of our disabled clients, of whom we are justly proud. Our workers have become self-supporting taxpayers, not tax consumers.

Gateway Industries, Inc. not only makes an impact on the individual client's life, but also on the community through wages paid. Gateway currently employs 45 individuals. The following wages were paid over the past seven years:
