ASSEMBLY AT GATEWAY INDUSTRIES
Assembly refines, manages and executes labor intensive processes within our facility putting 25 plus disabled individuals to work. By aligning its carefully selected workers, Gateway is able to offer performance based pricing with customers’ objectives. Workers accurately perform the work presented, display teamwork, and perform visual checks on all products as they pass through the assembly lines. They are also trained to have excellent manual dexterity which is required for assembling and operating the equipment. Workers possess strong work ethics, are self- starters, have thoroughness and attention to details, and an ability to adhere to timelines to ensure success. WHAT IS ASSEMBLED HERE?
We currently have commercial contracts for window pivot shoes, single spring assembly for windows, double spring assembly for windows, triple spring assembly for windows, and quad spring assembly for windows. We also hold federal contracts manufacturing impermeable laboratory aprons, vinyl food handler aprons, stainless steel framed mirrors, painters’ plastic drop cloths, a local contract making organic cotton tassels and pom-poms for baby and toddler clothes.
WHAT TYPE OF EQUIPMENT IS USED/AVAILABLE?
Industrial sewing machines, industrial cutters knife, foot operated grommet machine, hand operated grommet machine, layup table, sealing machines, spot welder, drill press, 30 plus work stations, roll carts used in production, several air screwdrivers, fork lifts, pallet racking for product, air compressors, floor jack, counting scales, and numerous tools.

Of course, each project/contract will be different and turnaround time will depend on how intensive the project is, but most products can be shipped within a few days.
